Our payment system is based on the idea that we’re in this together. All you have to do is sign up for a Google AdSense Account, input your AdSense ID into the Halifax Citizen system and, from that point on, we’ll begin splitting the revenue of each article and give you 50% of the profits.

Starting from Scratch:
  1.  Visit Google site: Google
  2. Click on the link to set up a new AdSense account. Choose the email address you want to use (if it’s different from the email address you provided in your member application).
  3. Review Google’s Terms & Conditions.
  4. Click Sign Me Up. You’ll see a message that your account was created and instructing you to check your email inbox for further instructions from Google.
  5. Read and follow the directions in the Google email to activate your account. You will not earn any revenue from submitted articles until you do so.

Already have an AdSense Account?

If you already have a Google AdSense account you can link that to EMS Live and start earning article revenue right away.

  1.  Login to Halifax Citizen.
  2. Visit your My Account.
  3. Paste your AdSense ID into your account profile.
  4. Start earning money for your articles on EMSLive.
