John Bignell started his career in broadcasting as the producer and co-host of the Internet’s first paramedic podcast, EMS Live. Taking the experience gained there, he co-founded Podcast Plus a creative communications agency focusing on consulting businesses, charities and associations on the use of cutting edge communications which are becoming a mainstream part of organization’s internal and external communication strategies. He has also been featured in various publications, national radio programs and podcasts in Canada and the United States. When breaking free of the office, you’ll find him in nature, camping, hiking, geocaching, mountain biking, surfing, and sailing.
Hey Beatle Fans everywhere...look what's coming to Halifax...the 3rd Annual Maritime Beatle Event!!! Early Bird tickets going fast!
If you love the classic songs of The Beatles and would like to attend The Maritime's biggest celebration of The Beatles, then you won't want to miss the 3rd Annual Maritime Beatle Event being held at the Olympic Gardens (St. Antonio's Hall), Halifax, Nova Scotia on Saturday, June 7th, from noon until after midnight.
International Beatle acts as well as local entertainers will take to the stage for a marathon of non-stop "Beatlemania" and a Magical Mystery Tour down memory lane. Folks who have witnessed the first two Events, have raved about the whole experience and would not miss out on the chance to come back again and again!
As a special treat for all who love the music of the 1960's, we will recreate our "Summer Of Love" show on stage mid-way through the marathon. You won't want to miss this portion of the Event...it was a huge hit last year!

I have been going to this event since it stared, and it's one of the most exciting events in Halifax this spring. I always look forward to it every year. This is a must see event for any Beatles fan!
